The Fundy Legacy Design Proofer was the very first album proofing solution that allowed clients to comment directly on designs. Export for Proofer
First, export your album for the Online Proofer. After Fundy Designer creates the specially formatted files, it will prompt you to login to the Online Proofer dashboard to create a new proof.
Creating a Proof
When creating a proof, you have a number of options: including your album contract, restricting the number of changes allowed, adding music, including email reminders, etc.
Sending the Link
You can have the Online Proofer automatically send your clients the link, or you can directly copy the link and send it off to them personally.
Viewing the Album
When your clients receive the link, they can view the album on their smart phone, tablet or computer.
Approving the Album
If your client loves the design as is, they can approve it right then and there. They will just click the Approve button, and then you will receive an email that the album was approved with no changes.
Request Changes
If your clients want to request changes, they can click the request link.
Then, they can choose to remove pages or add comments.
When they click the Finished button, you’ll receive an email letting you know the total number of changes and/or pages to remove.
Email Reminders
To make sure that your clients actually approve their album, you can set up email reminders to go out once or twice a month.
Making Changes
When you receive an email from the Online Proofer, click on the link to see the changes your client requested.
At the top of the page, you can toggle the switch to only see the changes you need to make.
Then, open the project in Fundy Designer and make the requested changes.
Uploading a New Revision
Once you’ve made the changes, click Export for Proofer again and open up their gallery. It will be on the left side of the Dashboard.
Then upload a new revision and send it to your client.
