I know, I hear you. I was one of the first to laugh at Adobe for putting in video editing in Photoshop CS6. But, I’m here to say that I’m also one of the first to say, “wow, video editing in Photoshop CS6 is amazing.”

I spend hours on Lynda.com learning how to use Final Cut Pro X. And it is awesome. We do all our video in it. But after spending $299 on Final Cut Pro and hours learning how to use it, I found out that Photoshop CS6 is, not only easier, but 95% as powerful.
Photoshop CS6 is great for video because:
- It’s dead easy – easier than Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
- It does 95% of what you need for video AND it’s the standard for photography.
- You can run many (not all) actions on video. Have a favorite BW action? You can often run it on video.
Let’s see just how cool it is.
In addition to this awesome video feature, there are a ton of other features. The most notable, it’s about twice as fast.
