While preparing for WPPI, I was looking for a new non-bulky solution to a portable desk for our booth, when I was emailed by a good friend of mine, Amber McCoy. She had just taken a job at Tether Tools–a company that specializes in creating laptop, storage and iPad tools that attach to your tripod or light stand. So basically, you have a desk on the go with stands you already have.
The Tether Table Aero
This table top attaches to a light stand or a tripod with your current mount. Personally, I love it and there are so many options. Not only can you have a desktop for your laptop, but also add an iPad arm, and even bays to store extra hard drives.
iPad Solutions
I’m really excited about the cool iPad stand that we are going to use at WPPI for quick demos. When attached to the iPad, it looks like a mini iMac. So cool. Additionally, as mentioned above, you can get adjustable arms that attach to tripods or light stands. These are very handy with new apps that allow us to control our Canon and Nikon cameras.
