Jacklyn Greenberg’s 4 Tips to 5-Figure Photography Sales

We recently sat down with Jacklyn Greenberg of JAGstudios to hear her strategies for consistently achieving five-figure print sales. Plus, get the details on how she recently made $77k in print sales from a single client! 

In this blog post, Jacklyn shares her 4 biggest tips on using Fundy Designer to connect with clients, from the initial consultation to the final presentation of stunning albums and wall art. During their engagement session, the same client also spent $25,000 on artwork! Tip 1: Understand Your Client 
The most important step is to understand and prepare your client: start building a deep connection, get to know them through in-depth conversations, and try to understand what’s truly meaningful to them. “It’s about uncovering their driving desires,” Jacklyn says. “This initial step is crucial in creating artwork that resonates on a personal level.”

Tip 2: Ask Two Key Questions

Jacklyn always asks her clients two important questions to help them think deeply about their photos:

  1. “If you could keep only one photograph from this entire experience, who and what would it be of?”
  2. “Where in your home would the energy and feeling from this moment have the most impact?”

These questions get clients thinking about the emotional value of their photos and where they might display them in their home. It could be a photo album on the coffee table or a picture on the wall up the stairs. This way, clients start imagining the final product early on and you know exactly what they want. By the time you discuss buying the photos, they’re already excited about placing them in their home.

Tip 3: Album Design

During the shoot, Jacklyn focuses on capturing deep emotions without making clients feel like they’re being sold something. This relaxed approach helps everything feel natural. After the shoot, she then uses Fundy Designer to put together albums, wall art, and slideshows that show off the photos. 

Tip 4: IPS

After the shoot and design process, Jacklyn’s presentation method in Fundy Designer is structured yet engaging. She begins with a highlights slideshow presented in random order, allowing clients to relive their moments freely, not confined by a chronological timeline. “It’s about showcasing the event as a holistic experience,” she explains. This seamless and impactful viewing experience sets the stage for natural and successful sales.
