Growing your business? See Fundy’s recommended reading.

I try hard to update this list as often as I can. Running a successful photography business, is 1 part photography, 3 parts business. When I started my own business, I would read 2 books a month. Now I’m down to just one a month. But I like to keep it in that ballpark. When the reading gets tough, I’ll go for the audio book. But business reading is essential to a successful business. Seminar knowledge is nuts and bolts stuff, but reading is deep knowledge. Seminar knowledge can get the big ship up and running and moving along with a full head of steam, but I feel reading helps steer the ship over the long trip.
Here is my list, I hope these books help you as much as they’ve helped me.
If you are just starting out. I would recommend starting with “Book Yourself Solid” and “The Purple Cow.” If you are at the point in your business that you just can’t keep up and feel like you are working all the time and not making enough money, read “The E-Myth Revisited.” Then proceed with the others.
